I'm down in Miami. I had encountered the same problem perhaps every two or three months. Its been three months since I've had the problem come up again. Premium gas always and a bit of carburator additive once in awhile. I try to keep the tank as full as possible and it has done the trick. The only other time I had the bike die was when the filter was dirty; I installed the new K& N filter. Now I too drive the bike at the 65-75 speed when it dies on me. What I do when the bike starts to bog, Is I move to the right, pull in the clutch and accelerate the bike to the max. If the bike dies I hit the starter as the bike is rolling. It usually takes about two or three repeats for the bike to stop bogging down to get going again.
